Development Engineer position in Northvolt Västerås, Sweden
Dear Recruitment Team,
I have always been interested in the development of sustainable solutions for the energy
crisis that the universe is facing currently and Northvolt has smilar objectives to develop
materials for energy storage. Since I am going to defend my PhD thesis on biobased
materials for supercapacitor electrodes, I would perfectly fit to this position.
Throughout my research I have been focusing on the development of ligno-cellulose
based carbon materials for supercapacitor electrodes thereby giving value addition to
lignin which is usually considered as a byprodcut from the paper and pulp industries.
Another major objective was to increase the electrochemical performance of
supercapacitor electrodes by choosing different ligno-cellulose resoucres and designing
processes adequately. My research revealed the potential of lignin based carbon aerogels
for green and sustainable energy storage. I have gained strong experiance in material
preparation and characterization techniques as well as having strong connections with
researchers from different countries.
I like working in challenging environments where I can learn new things and gather
knowledge. I am goal oriented and self-driven and curious to see the impact of my
hardwork. I have the flexibilty to adapt to any working environment and my management
skills help me to meet the requirements of the job. I have developed strong communication
skills during the PhD studies that would allow me to communicate candidly with superiors,
subordinates and team members.
