Hunter Lesson Plan
Title: Listening and Speaking
Time: April 18th, 2021
Materials Needed:
In this lesson students will need themselves, their classmates and writing materials (if needed) for notes
and other


Students engage in conversations, provide, and obtain information, express feelings and emotions, and
exchange opinions.
Teacher Lesson Objective(s):
My students can successfully engage in conversations with other students in Spanish while expressing
feelings, emotions in Spanish to others.
Student Friendly I can statement:
I can Demonstrate competencies previously introduced
I can Analyze and express personal reactions to expository and literary texts
I can express my emotions/ and feelings in Spanish
I can exchange sentences and conversations with others
I can express my opinions in Spanish
Anticipatory Set:
Today we will exchange and talk to one another about topics that ill give to you (students)
During the Lesson (Procedure):
I Do: Provide students with prompts that they will use (emotion/personal reactions/feelings/opinions)
We Do: Brainstorming on what we want to talk about with our peers with the above examples
You Do: The talking in Spanish about 1 of the 4 options that the teacher gave out
Assessment Strategy
By using the five c’s (Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities) in my
lessons and use them in my assessments either being written, oral, and listening assessments, I can stress
the application of learning the Spanish language beyond the instructional setting.

Closure (summary):
In this higher level, interpersonal mode standard, my students will be able to talk and understand each
other when talking about feelings, emotions, opinions. By having those choices students can think to talk
about anything under those options. I will be there for backup if needed.
Follow-up Activities (may be done as homework):
If able to communicate with classmates outside of the classroom and continue with this activity to
strengthen your Spanish speaking and listening skills.
