SECRET SINS
1 John 5:16-18 (NKJV)
“If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will
give him life for those who commit sin not leading death. There is sin leading to death. I do not
say that he should pray about that. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to
death. We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God
keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.”
1 John 3:3-9 (NKJV)
“Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. Whoever commits sin
also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take
away our sins, and Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has
neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices
righteousness is righteous just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has
sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might
destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed
remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.”
1 John 2:15-17 (NKJV)
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the
Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and
the pride of life – is not of the Father but of the world. And the world is passing away, and the
lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Take away the secret sin that is eating you away. If you do not put it out now, it has a fire that
will consume your whole soul and turn you into a different man altogether. Do not believe in
the lies of the enemy sown into your soul, the flesh profits you nothing, it is the Spirit who gives
life alone (John 6:63). He is here today to give you a new life if you will confess your sin to the
Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, the only Living and true God.
PRAYER OF REDEMPTION
“My life is in your hands Lord, have mercy on me today. I am willing to live a righteous and
principled life in you Jesus. Forgive me my sin and change me afresh, make me the insignia of
your Grace and Mercy. I am trusting you today to save me, to save my soul from corruption. I
am born again today in Jesus Name!”
