1. Why do you think more people give importance to their body than their mind?
- Because physical self or the body is what people always see. If you have an injury then you can tell that
you have one but, if you have a psychological wound you wouldn’t notice that you have one.
2. How can we stop emotional bleeding that was brought by failure, rejection, and loneliness?
- You must pay attention to emotional pain to cure loneliness because loneliness is deadly like cigarette
will do to your body . To stop emotional bleeding brought by failure is that you must not afraid to try
everything. Peoples mind is the barrier that stop people to succeed in life. Rejection is extremely painful.
To stop rejection from breaking you, You must stop thinking of things that you doesn’t have because
some people do after a rejection is that they think of things that they doesn’t have and that what makes
them more hurt. They must protect your self-esteem.
3. What is rumination: why is it dubbed as one of the unhealthiest psychological habits?
- Rumination is when you replay the bad scenes all day sometimes a week like having a fight with your
friend or your boss yell at you. It is unhealthy because by spending so much time in accepting a so much
negative thoughts you are putting yourself at a significant risk for developing clinical depression/
alcoholism.
4. According to Dr. Winch, how can someone resist the urge of ruminating?
- To resist or stop the urge of ruminating you must battle negative thinking also according to a study 2
minutes of distraction is sufficient to break the urge to ruminate at that moment.
5. What are the benefits of taking care of your psychological health? Name at least (2)?
- If you take care of your psychological health, first is that you can heal your psychological wound easily.
Second is that you can build emotional resilience.
