6 ARCHETYPES OF
VILLAINS
Madison Marsh
Cold and Calculating
With no sympathy nor emotion in any form, these cold and
calculating type know how they work, though they don’t
mind. Consistent dissociating during bleak times. They know
what they are doing yet they do not mind, they enjoy it.
Through watching the pain and suffering of others, these
people are the Cold and Calculating type.
Example: Pinhead
Animalistic
With the instinct of an animal these people lack a
certain humane boundary. Brutal killers, these
people will cut through and mangle their victims
with no remorse. This type isn’t just for animals,
though they have a home here, leaving them to be
an animalistic archetype.
Example: Leatherface
Parasitic
The leech of the archetypes, these parasitic people often find an
unwilling host. They want or need something from their victim
and through breaking them down or manipulation these
parasites often get what they want.
Example: Audrey II
Strong and Silent
Being notably silent, these types are often deliberate in
their decisions. Being this quiet and reserved is by
choice. Their intelligence and ability may differ by
person, but their goal is clear, to be stoic, strong,
and quiet.
Example: Jason Voorhees
Colossal
These are the big and bad type of villain. Destruction and wrath is
their middle name. Destroying a city is their average
Saturday afternoon. These type tend to come from a poor
upbringing, leading them to act this way.
Example: Godzilla
Unhinged
Losing the plot and their mind is a common trait of this
archetype. They often act in a crazy manner or an
unpredictable way. They are seen as psychopaths
with no remorse, they kill at random and may
strike at any moment.
Example: Chucky
