Mr. Leo L. Capili is the Chief Executive Officer of Fl Capili Business Service from
2017 up to present, before he became the Chie Executive Officer, he is in-charge of the
technical requirements of the organization as well as he networks security, He also
Formulates procedures, Policy and guidelines based on reports given by the supervisors
or based on previous events and observations, He is also managing his printing press
business, Mclaren Printing Pres, INC. he is now the decision maker of the
organization, Hs decisions are based on reports given by respective supervisors/ heads/
team leaders that he assigned per department and from his observations, he also able to
make programs that will monitor the accountant’s reports monthly, quarterly and
yearly, He is also involved in the yearly deadlines for both the accounting and
licensing departments overall, Mr Leo L. Capili has been involved in all the aspects of
the Organization.

1. What are the new recruits’ employees should expect in working into your company?
They are given one to three months’ probation and they are expected to work the task and
obligations given to them and familiarize with the companies policies , they would be
evaluated after.
2. What are your strategies in handling your business?
The strategy is always anticipate what will happen in the future and prepare your
organization to the idea that would not be always complacent, if you think you already
found the sweet spot and stay on the same spot all the time and expect the same result
from last time.
3. In your workplace, how do you train your employees to apply ethics?
As part of boarding of the new employee, our HR department emphasizes the importance
of business ethics to our new hires. One of the most important aspects was to practice
what you teach and be good example to your people.
4. What is the characteristic that accounting firm owner should have?
According to Mr. Capili
- First you should be patients and understanding
- You should think analytically especially handling your clients’ accounts.
- Must be always updated in terms and new regulations, and educated that can be used
to help your employees and clients as well
5. How long do you handle this kind of business?
According to Mr. Capili, he has been working with the company since 1998, Mr. Capili and his
wife was trained by his late mother who was a CPA, from there they were experienced and
trained and went through all promotions which was a huge advantage when you manage the
business.
6. With the abundance of choices that you have in terms of which businesses to start, why
did you choose accounting consultant firm and printing press? Do you have an education
about this?
The Accounting firm was pass down by my mother, I inherited the legacy of my mother
including the trust of our clients, The printing press business was established due to the
opportunity given by our consultancy business where most of our clients in the business
consultancy were also clients of our printing press. Our printing press fans on printing
business terms and official receipts where all our clients regularly need to run their
business.
7. Do you consider yourself as a successful businessman? Why? Why not?
At This point, I still do not consider myself successful and I’m still in the process of
establishing the new foundation of our business
8. Do you find it tough to overcome your challenges as your firm grows?
Challenges are part of the task and allegations, we need to face this daily while managing
a business, treat is as a means to learn and a means to straighten you.
9. Is your business competitive enough compared to other businesses with the same nature?
The nature of our business is services, we deliver our services at our best and its not good
to entertain competition, we do our best to serve, and treat each other as a family, That
what’s matter to us
10. Have you ever felt that your business will fail?
Yes, Maybe all business owner has their moment in regards to failure to the business. We
experience failures and conquer those failures and learn from them. Failure helps
businesses to identify their weakness and on the other hand. You learn how to navigate
avoiding them.

Researching amidst the COVID-19 is challenging compared to the time when everything was
normal. Unlike face-to-face, it is more advantage and convenient for us students to do better in
research because during face-to-face, you can communicate with your groupmates personally.
Although making a research paper is challenging during online class, my groupmates and I
have overcome this challenge by having a communication. Our group leader has given us an
individual work that we are capable of. Based on the resume of person interview, all things are
possible if you’re hardworking. I realized what is the advantage of being a boss together with
the leader attitude.

As a Accounting Student of Far Eastern University, I found myself capable of doing and
achieving things, While doing This paper I experienced How to coordinate with people, do a
time table, Research information’s, compiling data’s and being creative with the help of my
group members, even if we were given a limited time to complete this requirement ,we were
able to compile it, while doing the interview of the chosen leader of our group I learned how
the business work and flow, and how the leader leads its people, and it inspires me to work
harder, how it is nice to be your own boss and to help people and have good relationships, it is
nice to have a office environment where everyone has a good relationship and this inspire me
to be a good leader in the future and lastly what I realized in the chosen leader’s success story
is that everything starts from the scratch it starts with a very low rank , as long as you have
hard work and patience everything would follow and also if you have a great relationship with
people , good things and success would follow, A real leader and a successful leader stays
humble .

As a freshman student from the Institute of Accounts, Business, and Finance under BS
Accountancy wherein I am new to this industry, interviewing a specialist under my dream
career motivates me the most in studying more and achieving my goal slowly. I learned that
everything is a process, it does not happen immediately or in just one snap because the real
achievement comes slowly but surely. I realized that not because you fail once does not mean
your purpose or goal already ended, you can just go on and stay still, maybe add or change
some little spice on it but still focus on your same goal. Since I am surrounded by mostly same
path as mine because all of us took BS Accountancy as our major and course, I feel like
everyone understands everything that the specialist is stating and each one of us might have
the same idea that Accountancy is not easy as a cake but can help you like Hulk to lift your
life to the upper most wherein you will feel and experience happiness and contentment in life.
I feel comfortable because we are in the same page, no one is lost and everyone is following
the same path though we might encounter humps and thorny branches while on the way, there
is still a band-aid waiting for us at the end of the line.
D. Stephanie Senica
As an accountancy student of Far Eastern University, I discovered a lot of things about myself,
our study, and most especially to the leader we have interviewed. While doing our paper, I
gained new pieces of knowledge that I can surely use in the future. I am aware that by
applying these new learnings, I could also be like Mr. Capili, a successful leader and
entrepreneur.
It was truly an honor to interview Mr. Capili. He’s an effective leader and very professional
when it comes to his work and that inspires his employees to do the same. I personally think
what brought him to his successful place right now is his good strategy and a positive mindset.
He exhibited a characteristic of what an effective leader should have. Through his lessons, I
now understand better how to handle your own business for it to become successful. Mr.
Capili inspired me to work harder because I noticed that it’s nice to start your business from
nothing to something. It’s very fulfilling when you know that you’re capable of helping
someone.
I had fun while in the process of doing this paper. It was a great experience working with my
groupmates because they were also interested to learn. I gained a lot of information not only
from Mr. Capili but also from my groupmates. I mastered how to do tables, gather credible
information, and compile data that could help us finish our paper. I know that I and my
groupmates would become great leaders in the future.
E. Cheska borra
As a student, I realized while doing this paper that having cooperation with my team is
important because we learn together and have good communication with each other. When it
comes to the person we interviewed, I learned a lot while he was the one, we interviewed.
First, as a leader, I learned how to handle a business-like Mr. Leo Capili did. I also learned
what his protocols are when it comes to business and how he handles the employees. I
admired the way he handles his business and treats his employees to the point that someday
when I can have a business, I want to be like Mr. Leo Capili. My experienced in interviewing
him is one of the great opportunities for myself and my members because it gave us an idea of
how to be a leader when you are already running a business. One of the things that I learned is,
not all entrepreneurs will be successful in their business easily. You need to work hard,
persevere, and learn to wait for your business to be successful. I would say that I have the best
group members because while doing this entire paper, we still manage to finished it and at the
same time we are enjoying the companions of each other and we didn’t feel the difficulties of
doing this entire paper.
F. Jovelyn Afuan
As an accountancy student from Far Eastern University, we had a final requirement
regarding Thought Leadership Presentation Report. Doing this paper and interviewing the
leader that we have chosen; I gained some experiences and realizations. Realizations that can
be helpful on my study to briefly understand about leadership and for my future industry.
The experience and realizations that I gained were I am grateful that I met and even
interviewed a successful leader. I heard and learned what took Mr. Capili to be a successful
leader or entrepreneur in his place. These gave me lessons on how to properly handle and
inspire your employees to be productive, what are his strategies to help him to grow his
business and what characteristics of an effective leader that should have in handling your
employees as well as your own business.
Doing this requirement was interesting and enjoyable for me because I’ve learned so
many strategies and information that I can use on my present and for my future. I also enjoyed
and it is my pleasure to work with my groupmates because they were all great and willing to
help and to be helped. I feel like we were co-workers at that time, reaching the goals of our
group.
G. Jamillah Valencia
Inside this Personal Plan comes many components. It includes things such as a student’s
reaction, feedback, and interaction. This shows how you can describe and identify a leader
and how he acts as such. Being a leader includes leading in presentations, interviews, and
working in social groups. A leader leads a group for a reason that, he/she knows how to
handle students in a single group. Great leaders assist others in reaching their goals, are not
hesitant to recruit individuals who may be better than them and take joy in the successes of
those they assist along the road." Leadership is not just something to brag about but it is a
great responsibility. True leaders make the difficult decision to self-sacrifice in order to
improve the lives of others around them. As an effective and great leader no matter how
much, there is to be done, it is our responsibility to do it and cope through it, but always
remember to enjoy and have fun doing the thing that you love and have passion for. Even
though we had a lot of work to do we still managed to finish of the work without forgetting
to enjoy and having teamwork all throughout sa working time.
