The pandemic hastened changes that were already taking place in workplaces prior to the outbreak, allowing for greater flexibility in how and where work was done. On the other hand, with the rise of networked digital information and communication technology, spatiotemporal designs and organisational practices have evolved dramatically (ICT). The linkages between human resource management strategies linked with New Ways to Work (Hybrid work structure) and work-related flow as perceived by employees are explored in this article. It will concentrate on the key issues and challenges faced by remote workers. This paper contends that the future of work will be hybrid, with employers, senior leaders, and employees all expecting to work in a hybrid setting. This article concludes with recommendations for organisational changes aimed at implementing New Ways of Working, as well as future research directions. Keyword(s): Hybrid work structure, Covid-19, New modes of working, HRM Practices, Issues and challenges.
