Activity
In this experiment, we
are going to look at the
diffusion of color
particles.
M&M skittlles of
different colors.
White paper plate
Water
Stopwatch
What to do step by step:
1. Place 6 skittles (M&M) evenly
around the edge of the plate.
(avoid same colors next to each
other)
2. Carefully pour in some water.
the water level should sit about
half-way up the skittles.
3. Watch as the colors spread
through the water and draw the
process to illustrate what
happened.
