ACID TEST LAB Purpose: ACID TEST LAB Purpose: The purpose of this lab is to identify different rocks by their properties. We will test the rock’s reactivity with an acid (in our case concentrated Acetic Acid). We will also use color and hardness to characterize these rocks and attempt to identify them. Set up for the lab: 1. Paste this sheet into the first empty right-hand page in your lab notebook. 2.
