ENVS120 - Geomorphology Tutorial 1 2021 Tutorial One: Rock types Task: Select a rock from each of the three rock types (igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rock) so you must have total of three rocks one rock for each rock type. For each of the rock you selected outline their distribution in south Africa. In your explanation provide a reason for their distribution (so why are they found in those areas) and outline processes that are associated with their formation (so how did those rocks form). For Instance, if you’re looking at an Igneous rock this can be (Granite Rock) so this would be your rock for igneous rock type. Now we have other rocks within the igneous rock type so pick your example and respond to the question. In your Response make sure you include references confirming the distribution of that rock, and the formation of that particular rock.
