The system dealswith monitoring and controlling theenviron me ntal conditionslike temperature, relative humidity and CO l evel with sensorsand sends the information to the web page a nd then plot thesensor data as graphicalstatistics. Introduction • Here we propose a smart weather reporting system ov er the internet. Our proposed system allows for weath er p arameter reporting over the internet. It allows the people t o directly check the weather stats online witho ut the need of a weather forecastingagency. • System uses temperature, humidity as well as rain sen sor to monitor weather and provide live reporting of th e w eatherstatistics. • The system constantly monitors temperature using te mperature sensor, humidity using humidity sensor and als o forrain. Rain drop sensor module Author:-Jinqiang Bai, Shiguo Lian, Member, IEEE, Zhaoxiang Liu, Kai Wang, 1. Raindrop Sensor is a tool used for sensing rain. It consists of two modules, a rain b oard that detects the rain and a control module, which compares the analogvalu e, and converts it to a digitalvalue 2. raindropsensorscanbeusedintheautomobilesectortocontrolthewindshieldw ipers automatically, in the agriculture sector to sense rain and it is also used in h ome automati onsystems. 3. Interfacing the raindrop sensor with a microcontroller like 8051, Arduino, or PIC is simple. The rain board module is connected with the control module of theraind ro p sensor. 4. The control module of the raindrop sensor has 4 outputs. VCC is connected to a 5V supply. The GND pin of the module is connected to the ground. The D0 pin is con nect ed to the digital pin of the microcontroller for digital output or the analog pi n can be use d. To use the analog output, the A0 pin can be connected to theADC pin of a microcontrol ler. In the case of Arduino, it has 6 ADC pins, so we can use any of the 6 pins directly with out using an ADCconverter. Weather reporting system Md. Razu Miah and Md. Sanwar Hussain In IOT enabled weather monitoring system project, Arduino Uno measures 4 weat h er parameters using respective 4 sensors. These sensors are temperature sensor, hum idity sensor, light sensor and rain levelsensor. These 4 sensors are directly connected to Arduino Uno since it has an inbuilt Anal o g to digital converter. Arduino calculates and displays these weather parameters on an LCD display. Then it sends these parameters to the Internet using IOT techni que s. The process of sending data to the internet using Wi-Fi is repeated after constant tim e intervals. Then the user needs to visit a particular website to view this data. T he p roject connects and stores the data on a web server. Thus the user gets Live r eportin g of weather conditions. Internet connectivity or Internet connection with wifi. Existing system The existing weather monit • oring systems generally use w eather stations that use m ultip le instruments such as t hermo meters, barometers, wind van es, rain gauge etc t o measure weather and dim atechanges.
