Rationale Sustainable and effective school governance structure is a key to delivering gender equality results. This also produces stable and effective leadership which underpins achievement of the school’s objectives which focuses on student’s learning and welfare for the total improvement of the school and its facilities. Each part of the system is geared toward holistic development of the students through its shared responsibility, shared commitment and shared accountability among school community stakeholders. With this, the proponents of this two-day training want to harness local resources and facilitate involvement of each sector of the community in ensuring sustainable growth and development of the school. 2 At the end of the one-day activity, it is expected that the following will be achieved. Objectives: 1. Gain knowledge and information on gender mainstreaming among participants in ensuring safety and supportive learning environment for the learners. 2. Provide opportunity and environment to develop shared responsibility, shared accountability and shared commitment in the students’ learning and their outcomes. 3. Encourage and facilitate effective community stakeholders’ participation for school improvement and success. 4. Strengthen school-community/stakeholders partnership for the holistic development of the learners. Expected Final Outcome/Success Indicator: 1. Awareness of the relevance of gender sensitivity for students’ safety and total transformation. 2. Sustain improved positive learning outcomes among learners. 3. Produces positive change of the school and its facilities. 4. Strong ties and successful partnership among stakeholders and the school aligned with learners’ improvement goals. III. The Program Content and Delivery Mode A.
