II. Rationale
Sustainable and effective school governance structure is a key to delivering
gender equality results. This also produces stable and effective leadership which underpins
achievement of the school’s objectives which focuses on student’s learning and welfare for the
total improvement of the school and its facilities. Each part of the system is geared toward
holistic development of the students through its shared responsibility, shared commitment and
shared accountability among school community stakeholders. With this, the proponents of this
two-day training want to harness local resources and facilitate involvement of each sector of the
community in ensuring sustainable growth and development of the school.
