Core Design Status of remaining documents are as follows: • System Architecture – under review of Maynilad • Equipment Lists and CFD Reports – currently endorsed to Maynilad for conditional acceptance as these documents are not able to meet Code 1 until completion of Developed Design. Discussion to be made between Maynilad and Arup for the proposed Confirmation of Core Design. 2. For close out within the week. 2.3 Architectural 2.3.1 Admin Building Architectural Layout AA-DMCI to consider the final architectural layout to use as basis for the loading key plan in the preparation of the corresponding structural design. To be submitted on 11 Oct 2021 2.4 • Progress metrics • 4D simulation – Intake and fence completed, and development is on-going for the BAF. Basis of the programme is still general and is yet to incorporate the proposed revised programme. • Clash Detection Reports – recent clash detection report for Intake submitted on 05 Oct 2021 2.5 Mechanical 2.5.1 Valves Data Sheet AA-DMCI informed that the accreditation of the proposed vendor (Belgicast) for the butterfly and wafer swing check valves have been submitted to Maynilad pending its review. No updates on the status of evaluation. Note AA-DMCI Maynilad Local Support (MC Spencer / CVN) AA-DMCI confirmed that the nominated local support of the DAF Air Saturator Tank is engaged to provide after sales services as long as it is within the scope of the warranty up to DLP. 3. Note As for the other change proposals pending for first submission, AA-DMCI clarified that these are already technically agreed and will be submitted on a later date. Note Contractor Changes Six (6) change proposal that are currently considered as “live” changes are as follows: • CP-C-003: UF CEB and Backwash Piping – Accepted as Code 2 with pending review for cost reduction. AA-DMCI to consider Pipe Arrangement submission in the cost review. • CP-C-004: ATS from Solenoid to CB – Pending discussion between Maynilad and Arup • CP-C-006: Change of PCP to CP for Residual Backwash Tank – Accepted as Code 2 with requests for further information on the cost breakdown. Arup is coordinating with AA-DMCI and Maynilad on the possibility of providing the cost information. • CP-C-007: Change in UF Inlet Analyzer – Accepted as Code 2 but subject for cost reduction review during developed design. Note • CP-C-009: Change in Coupling type for Main Pumps – Pending discussion between Maynilad and Arup. Arup • CP-C-506: Change in Distribution Pipe Material – AADMCI to send its formal change proposal upon receiving the information on the cost incurred with the change. AADMCI informed that this change has been reflected in the design documents. AA-DMCI Possible Changes • RO Rack Materials – Maynilad has previously rejected the proposal from AA-DMCI to change the material of the racks from SS316 to hot-dipped galvanized carbon steel. AA-DMCI, however, has submitted a formal report detailing the proposed change. Further discussions to be made between Maynilad and AA-DMCI. Note • Sulfuric Line – Maynilad indicated that the Consortium may use PVDF, PFA, FRP, or Duplex SS as material for the sulfuric line. In addition, it was also recommended to have a single pipe material throughout the intended pipeline. AA-DMCI to evaluate the materials for the change proposal. In parallel, Arup will send its response to AA-DMCI’s letter on the concern sent early this year. Items for Interfacing with Maynilad 5.1 CCTV Layout Pending for Maynilad security team and PMD inputs in the preferred CCTV locations upon completion of Admin Building Layout and process structures. 5.2 Distribution Network Information AA-DMCI informed that the information that were sent in response to its RFI does not allow to progress the Hydraulic Transient Analysis. Further discussion will be made later today in a separate meeting. 5.3 Note LLRN Project Further liaison shall be made with DPWH and LLRN consultants on the concern of interfacing between LLWTP and LLRN. It is projected that the LLRN interchange will clash with the proposed brine line alignment. 6. Maynilad / AADMCI Note Meralco Energization The updated application was sent to Meralco on 7 Sep 2021. For AA-DMCI follow-up. Note Post-meeting note: AA-DMCI has sent information on the proposed locations of the transmission lines along Umali Street to serve the LLWTP project. Target completion of this activity is on Nov 2021 according to Meralco. 7. Other Matters 7.1 Intake Levels AA-DMCI clarified that based on its survey activities, it was confirmed that the design levels are acceptable for use. AA-DMCI will be sending a letter and the data collected from the survey. 7.2 AA-DMCI Brine Line Alignment AA-DMCI to revisit its brine line alignment to avoid clashing with existing fish pens. AA-DMCI is already negotiating with fish pen owners that will be affected by the brine line for acquisition. AA-DMCI Changing the brine line alignment will require re-application of the Lease Agreement with LLDA.
