discussion between Maynilad and Arup
•
CP-C-006: Change of PCP to CP for Residual Backwash
Tank – Accepted as Code 2 with requests for further
information on the cost breakdown. Arup is coordinating
with AA-DMCI and Maynilad on the possibility of
providing the cost information.

design documents.
AA-DMCI
Possible Changes
•
RO Rack Materials – Maynilad has previously rejected the
proposal from AA-DMCI to change the material of the
racks from SS316 to hot-dipped galvanized carbon steel.
AA-DMCI, however, has submitted a formal report
detailing the proposed change. Further discussions to be
made between Maynilad and AA-DMCI.
Note
•
Sulfuric Line – Maynilad indicated that the Consortium
may use PVDF, PFA, FRP, or Duplex SS as material for
the sulfuric line. In addition, it was also recommended to
have a single pipe material throughout the intended
pipeline. AA-DMCI to evaluate the materials for the
change proposal. In parallel, Arup will send its response to
AA-DMCI’s letter on the concern sent early this year.

Items for Interfacing with Maynilad
5.1
CCTV Layout
Pending for Maynilad security team and PMD inputs in the
preferred CCTV locations upon completion of Admin Building
Layout and process structures.
5.2
Distribution Network Information
AA-DMCI informed that the information that were sent in
response to its RFI does not allow to progress the Hydraulic
Transient Analysis. Further discussion will be made later today in
a separate meeting.
5.3
Note
LLRN Project
Further liaison shall be made with DPWH and LLRN consultants
on the concern of interfacing between LLWTP and LLRN. It is
projected that the LLRN interchange will clash with the proposed
brine line alignment.
6.
Maynilad / AADMCI
Note
Meralco Energization
The updated application was sent to Meralco on 7 Sep 2021. For
AA-DMCI follow-up.
Note
Post-meeting note: AA-DMCI has sent information on the
proposed locations of the transmission lines along Umali Street to
serve the LLWTP project. Target completion of this activity is on
Nov 2021 according to Meralco.
7.
Other Matters
7.1
Intake Levels
AA-DMCI clarified that based on its survey activities, it was
confirmed that the design levels are acceptable for use. AA-DMCI
will be sending a letter and the data collected from the survey.
7.2
AA-DMCI
Brine Line Alignment
AA-DMCI to revisit its brine line alignment to avoid clashing with
existing fish pens. AA-DMCI is already negotiating with fish pen
owners that will be affected by the brine line for acquisition.
AA-DMCI
Changing the brine line alignment will require re-application of the
Lease Agreement with LLDA.
