vertical line segment of length 3 cm. Complete a right-angled triangle by
drawing in the hypotenuse Use this sketch as your guide.
If the shorter sides have lengths a cm and b cm, then a=3 cm and b=4 cm. Let
the hypotenuse have length c cm.
2. Measure the hypotenuse using a ruler and find c.
