Why we need classroom Display ?
•
It can be merely decorative make class brighter and an
interesting stimulating place (so motivate student learning)
•
Display can be a direct teaching aid (model, number line, letters
so it helps teaching to be more effective)
•
Display can be supplementary teaching aid that enrich and
enforce what is being taught (relating subject to life) family
pictures to identify the family words brother sister..etc
•
Display can include important materials for students to memorize
(multiplication tables …spelling lists..etc)
•
Display can be used to set the scene for a new teaching topic to
promote interest to a topic will be introduced soon.
•
Display can be a way of reporting and recording work done (What
we did in >>>>>>>SC ENG MATH >>>etc)

It can be a way of observing ,monitoring and recording (growing a
plant ..watching a caterpillar )

Display can be books to promote habit of reading

Display can provide extra to do in spare moments (early finishers)

,responsibilities ,tasks ,rules ,incentive and behavior code.

Classroom Display tips
•
Change display regularly to maintain interest and freshness
•
Display need maintenance ( tidy …to leave it loose..)
•
Class display need to be at the eye level of students while sitting
•
Give display titles …and pointers if helpful
•
Always search for new ideas …(my sweet hearts did this for me
..relate text to text to self text to life (make connections it
facilitate learning)
•
Choose appropriate font …that shaped like the hand written
letters
•
Use strong contrasting colors for display (harmony using 3 colors
as blue purple and yellow )

Use symmetry …..use borders
