My favorite scene from 12 Angry Men was when Juror 3 told Juror 8, “I’ll Kill Him!” As mentioned in the
movie, almost all of us use that phrase from time to time without really meaning that you will kill them,
but that you are angry at them, or want to fight. This scene also showed to me how methodical I should
be when forming arguments to convince other people. The whole movie, including this scene relates to
this class by groupthink. The whole movie the jurors are trying to reach a consensus and this scene
seems to change the mind of at least one of the jurors to the Not Guilty side. The Movie is also an
example of the Devils advocacy.
