the first video has a lot of cursing. The second video deals with the angry five year
old and his treatment by police officers.

After review today’s notes…7 steps of crisis management and the videos, answer
the following questions in full.
1) Describe in your words the treatment of the 5 year old in the video. What
was the officer’s tone like? Did he act in a professional manner in your
opinion with the child?
2) Based upon today’s notes, what two strategies would you have used with
the mentally ill man from Columbus? Why did you pick those two?
3) What was the nickname for the mentally ill man in the Columbus pd video?
4) Would you have put the runaway child in the front seat or the back seat of
the car? Tell me why you picked the seat location for the kid that you did. (

5) Do you believe Columbus PD was too patient with the mentally ill man?
Should they have just handcuffed him and taken him right away to
