Stuck in the the Mud!
Level 4
You Will Need
• Sticks (optional, you could collect these with the children as part of the activity)
• Large activity tray
• Soil or sand
• Sticks in the Mud Tricky Word Cards
Instructions
• Cut out and laminate the Sticks in the Mud Tricky Word Cards
• Fill a large activity tray with soil/sand.
• Place the Word Cards around the edge of the activity tray.
• If you are doing so, ask the children to collect sticks from a safe place outdoors.
• Now, the children can use the sticks to write letters in the soil. Can they write any of the tricky words?
