UNIT 2 : ADAPTING TO A CHANGING WORLD
The world is in big changes, especially on economic aspect. The economy of the
countries is being affected by three trends including the discontinuation of the
globalization process, the explosion of technology applications is now fully grown
such as automation and the appearance of more and more ‘’ black swan’’,
surprising and upset all expectations
The anti-globalization is no longer limited to protest groups on the street, it has
become the election stance of many politicians, the policy of some economies and
has been present in the development strategy of many multinational corporations.
Along with the process automating production, just then the cost of workers was
no longer a top concern, a lot of business “re-structured’’ their production chains to
their production facilities back to developed countries. Although the scale is small,
such a shift is something we cannot get over.
In that context, it is though that the minds planning the strategy for the country
must quickly find an appropriate method of behavior. For example, should we
continue to receive foreign investment flows, withdraw from places that are no
longer easy with environmental protection constraints and invest in our country to
take advantage of such ‘’advantages’’ as low energy costs, low environmental
handle costs, to be favored by tax and other natural resources such as land and
water sources
One of urgent must do things is to figure out where we are in today’s changing
world. That people’s welfare of the foundation. That welfare includes the right to
earn a living by traditional occupations, their children are well educated and
healthcare is guaranteed to a minimum. If we can do these foundations, we hope
we will be clear-sighted to find the method that our ancestor has long summed up:
"invariant, diversities".
