Conference background

Since the international business environment is becoming increasingly
complex, countries are strengthening compliance supervision through
domestic legislation and international cooperation. Improving
compliance operations has therefore become a more pressing issue
for international companies in recent years. With Chinese companies
increasingly conducting business abroad, international compliance risks
have come to light. The Chinese government is accordingly paying more
attention to the governance, and compliance supervision. Since the
State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commision (SASAC)
established its compliance management system for centrally-managed
enterprises, compliance management has continuously improved. The
recently distributed 'Implementation Opinions on the Establishment
and Supervision of the Internal Control System' for centrally managed
enterprises has also fostered improved levels of compliance, while
encouraging companies that conduct investment activities around the
world, to abide by the rules and requirements of the global market.
由于国际商业环境日趋复杂，强化合规经营
成为近些年国际化企业发展的新趋势，各国
都在通过国内立法、国际合作的方式加强合
规监管工作。随着中国企业走出国门，国际
合规监管活动中涉及中国的案例多发，中国
企业国际化过程中的合规风险凸显。中国政
府也越来越重视依法治企与合规监管，自国
资委启动央企合规管理体系建设试点开始，
企业的合规管理在不断地建立和完善。近期
又出台了关于印发《关于加强中央企业内部
控制体系建设与监督工作的实施意见》的通
知，期待企业在改革过程中提高合规管理水
平。这也意味着企业在全球开展投资与贸易
活动时，必须遵守全球市场的规则与要求，
进一步提升国际化合规经营与管理。
About the summit
关于峰会
The International Anti-Bribery Summit will take anti-bribery as the
main starting point and comprehensively discuss the experience and
development of compliance management of domestic and foreign
companies in the international context. The summit will include four
major sections: global anti-bribery and compliance environment, risk
identification and system establishment, enterprise anti-fraud and
internal investigation, as well as enterprise compliance practices
and case sharing. The purpose of the summit is to help multinational
companies better identify international business risks, and at the same
time share successful compliance practices to help Chinese businesses
become more competitive on the international stage.
