 Ensure that student behave and look after their safety during the journey. Report any
incidents to the school transport coordinator.
 Ensure all students are seated while the bus is moving and are using seat belt where they
are provided. No student is to be seated in the center seat of the row. Ensure no students
are left on board at the final destination.
 Ensure that all students enrolled are on board before setting the bus on return journey
from school to back home.
 Ensure that all students less than 11years of age returning home are received by a
guardian. In case the guardian is not available, inform the school that the student is being
returned to the school after the remaining student is dropped off.
 Assist student with crossing the street, evacuating the bus in case of emergencies
 Participate in educating students about traffic safety and how to use the bus and organize
any entertainment program on the bus
 Supervise to make sure that all students follow the correct rules to get in and out of the
bus.
 Training student (especially those who stay till the end of the trip) on the important of
reporting in the event that any of their colleagues did not get down at their destination and
still inside.
