UTOPIA Frescila 1. What is the name of your utopia? 2. Name some of the characteristics of the land (mountains, cities, cold, hot, etc.) Has a small city, with apartments, houses, banks,stores, a mall etc. 3. How are laws decided? Who makes the laws? Who enforces them? What happens to those who disagree with, or disobey the laws? The laws are decided by the governers of the state such the mayor, the sercetary, the treasurer, and the sentate of the city. The person that makes the law the ones who have decided the laws. The police officers are the one who enforces the law. The ones who disagree with the laws are to be put in jail or parole for an example if someone steals they are to do communtity service if they continue on their path they will be sent to jail for more than 2 years. If one commits murder then they shall be exterminated. 4. Write five rules that all citizens would have to obey and that would be fair to all citizens. 1. Do not steal or lie 2. Do not murder on any occasion or threat someone on any occassion 3. Do not vandalize other property 4. Roiting is not to be tolerated under any circumstazies 5. Treat everyone with respect, because all lives matter 5. How are jobs decided on and who makes the decision? How do you know who is right for the job? Jobs are decided by the bosses who are in charge of their job. If the person is for the right job he or she will show passion through their work and will be given 72 hours on their job that they would lie to do and if they do well and they like the job thry can jeep the job. 6. How do you educate people for their jobs? How do you pay the teachers? We educate the people for jobs when they come and work for us and in the mean time while they are working we will show them how do to do what we do so they can excell in the job they want. The mayor pays the teachers because the mayor is the one in charge of city. 7. Who takes care of public works (electricity, water, roads, etc.)? Where do you get the money or other means to pay those who do these jobs? The electrians are the ones who take care of the electricty. The plumbers are the ones who take care of the water around the city. The roads are taked cared by the carpenters who also are the ones who builds houses and builings around the city. The electricans are paid by the ones who hired them to help, that also goes for the same with plumbers. The carpenters are paid by the mayor. 8. 9. How do you keep people healthy? Who do people see to get well or be healed? Who pays for this benefit? We keep people healthy by giving them fresh food to eat everyday, making sure they go to the doctor and dentist every six months. The ones who pay for the benefit is the insurance company ofcourse. Who takes care of children? Who takes care of the elderly who cannot take care of themselves? On weekdays children go to school for at least 8 hours after that they can either go home or go to daycare depending on what age they are, while their parents go to work. On the weekends children can stay with their parents and their grandparents. On weekdays there are nannies for the eldery who can take care of them. 10. How do you keep people from poverty? By signing an agreement of a contract. 11. What do you do with people who don’t seem to fit in? We ensure them to find there place in which they belong. 12. How do you conserve your resources so that they are not ruined or run out (air, water, forests, etc.)? For air we use windmills so we can also store energy, we use wells so we can store our clean water. We dont have a forest but we do have a park, each day we restore our park by cleaning it every 3 days. 13. How do you control the population so that too many people are not born who would use up all the natural resources? We are to make sure there is enough condoms, birth control pills and resources so we don't let that happen. 14. How do you keep beauty in the people’s lives (art, parks, literature, theater, music, etc.)? Who pays for these extra privileges and how? We keep these thingsbeautiful by people who know how to observe and to mae sure that vandalism does not happen in our town or city. The person who pays to have perfected is the people who own the place. 15. How do you provide for the people’s spiritual lives? Is there just one religion or do you allow people to worship as they please? If the latter, how do you handle inter-religious problems? We provide a Christianity church in our town. In our town we believe that youshould be a Christian and if not and you worship other gods then we would have to let you go. 16. How do you keep the influence of other countries from ruining your land? They would not able to come through only if you are related to someone that is in our country or if they get a letter saying yes you can be in our city. 17.
