Amer Al Azem, President of ArTA Amer Al Azem is a legal translator, teacher, trainer, author, thinker, writer, marketer, President of Arab Translators Association (ArTA). • B.A. in English Linguistics, BirZeit University, 1988, Palestine. • M.A. in International Relations, Columbia, Missouri University, 1991, USA. • Scholarship by the British Council, Leeds University, 1994, UK. He served as a teacher of English for 8 years in Palestine and Saudi Arabia He is a legal translator for 20 years in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Palestine He has worked for White & Case LLP in Jeddah, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar and Anti-Corruption Commission in Palestine. He is the founder and ex-president of World Arab Translators Association (WATA) 2004/2010. As President of WATA, the association honored 1000 scholars, scientists, academics, writers, translators, linguists, poets and thinkers between 20052010 (In May, 2021 ArTA has also honored 130 scholars and figures.) He is the founder of Arab Trainers Union, based in Jordan, 2011. He is the founder and President of Arab Translators Association (ArTA) www.artaassociation.org He was behind the establishment of many translation societies in the Arab World. He held 25 courses on legal translation in Qatar, Jordan and Palestine. He lectured in many Arab universities and associations. He held many seminars and conferences on Translation in Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Morocco under the umbrella of or in partnership with WATA Association He is the author of three published books on English grammar and legal translation, (1994/1998/2011) He is the owner of Amer Al Azem Enterprise for Translation and Training (since 2008) www.ameralazem.net He was hosted by Al Jazeera and Qatar TV for three times Many Arab and International news papers wrote about him and his achievements.
