Sucetty Miranda EECE333-533 Prof. McCullough Field writing assignment #4 How often is art work discussed in the classroom? What is discussed more frequentlymuseum art work, student art work? How is the art work that is discussed related to what students are doing in class? What does the teacher do to facilitate discussions? Art work in the classroom is constantly discussed by the teacher. There are no specific times and feedbacks are always provided every time the art teacher monitors and checks her students’ work. Every time there is a critique, as I have mentioned before in my other papers, students must use academic language to provide a comment with foundation. Both the teacher and the students must refer to the rubric in order to provide a critique. For instance, while students are discussing about others peer’s work, they cannot come and say “the value is wrong” without providing extra information. Instead, they could mention that the value lacks of shadow or light. Ms. C always encourages her students to use the rubric, so they could support their ideas
