Transaction is done through meet-ups or through deliveries in Solano Purpose of the business Reimelyn’s Polvoron creates sweets in lined with our tag line, “A Little Sweetness For Everyone.” My small business aims to bring joy to every customer. I make small treats that give customers the satisfaction they want. SWOT Analysis Strengths People love my Special Polvoron because of the additional ingredients that we mixed that gives a twist to the original taste of the polvoron. My polvorons can be kept inside the refrigerator for one week when you don’t want to eat it yet. But then, you will see and find out that there would be no differences that will occur during that time. Our polvoron will taste as it is because of the quality and the process on how we made them. the process on how i made them. You can also give our polvorons to your love ones and can be shared by 2-3 person in just 1 pack. I named my product as Reimelyn’s Polvoron because every bite of it will surely taste good and my name itself. Also, my product will never disappoint you. I’m consistent until the end. MY product has also a fantastic marketing strategy. I’m make sure that i can sell myproduct with those people who ordered our product. i also made some advertisements to purchase our product to the others. Weaknesses The weakness of my business is the target market. I have limitations in our target market. I must sell our polvorons to Solano Public Market only. It is hard for me because i barely know other residents of solano. We also deliver our products myself so I have to manage my time. But because I love what i doing i still manage to come right in time when i having meet-ups and deliveries Opportunities There are opportunities for other consumer outside the Solano Public Market I can sell and expand my product after i have completed and finished the project because many of the orders in my Facebook page is from the outsiders so as a manager, i decided to take that opportunity to gain income. im not just working but im also having fun. Other opportunities are that i can change and add more flavors to my product for it to become more popular. My consumer may also have the chance to pick whatever flavors they are craving for. I f my business might be successful in the future, i might add some more items to sell for the consumer to be satisfied. Threats The Threats in my product is the competition between other small businesses such as the Oreo pastillas, graham balls and bread rolls which are businesses in my section and rice meals from other sections. All of which are also easy to sell. (i think of ideas to create and make products which are scrumptious to everyone. i created a kind of polvoron which cannot be forgotten by anyone even with those famous competitors. Not all of us have a sweet- tooth so it is hard for me to convince other consumer to buy my product. But then because of my good strategy they will still end up buying my product.) Marketing Strategies Social Media Many people around the world have and uses different social media accounts. Teenagers and young adults use social media platforms to post updates, learn stories, discover things and do other activities that suit their purpose. Our business mainly utilizes Facebook, an example of a social media platform, to market my product. i created an online page where people can learn about my product and order them. I also post posters and videos in the page to inform my customers about my product. Word-of-mouth Strategy This is one of the most commonly use marketing strategy of small businesses. I told to my family and friends to like and share my page and also tell it to people they know. We also persuaded people i know from solano to patronize my product. This proved to be one of the most important strategies because more people started to order and avail my product after i utilized this. Process The first thing i do is to cut cellophanes into equal parts. Second i put the molded polovorons inside the fridge for about 20-30 minutes. Third, I get the polvorons out of the fridge and then will start wrapping it individually in cellophane and after that I will put the polvorons back to the fridge. Last step, is to put 5 pieces of polvoron in each plastic bag with my logo and tie them with ribbons. Packaging Each polvoron is individually wrapped in cellophane and I put inside plastic bags that has my logo in it. The packs are tied with ribbons and i checked for any damages. Delivery When a customer orders in my online page in Facebook, i ask him/her when and where he/she will get the products and deliver it on the agreed details. Reimelyn’s Polvoron does meetups or deliveries inside the Solano premises only. Personal Experiences I learned that it is really hard to think of a product that you will be selling to people, in that case you start taking risk because there is no assurance if people will buy it. my product is polvoron, I learned how to make it, from the very first thing to do, the mixing of ingredients and up to the packing. At first i got a little problem about molding the polvoron because it didn’t shape well but after that I figured out that i got the wrong molding equipment. When i make the first batch of my product I’m so excited to sell it, at first i sell it to the people i already knew but even if i already knew them i still need to persuade them to buy my product - Reimelyn Castro
