As such, implementation is the action that must follow any preliminary thinking in order for something to actually happen. It also established the mechanism of organizing learners and monitoring their learning. In our school, the Implementation was carried but on the way, modifications were made so as to suit with the current situation. As the School Head of the Rimos National High School, it is my role to lay down all the plans including interventions and revolution of solutions in addressing the unexpected risks in the implementation of the school’s chosen learning modality. This is to ensure that we can deliver and provide basic services to our clientele-services which are learner-centered. Modifications were already made like the transfer of venue of distribution and retrieval of modules from the barangay to school to suit to the prevailing situations. This further helped and guided us in looking for immediate and long-term solutions to problems and challenges we faced in the implementation of chosen learning delivery modality. It made me realized that an important source of learning in real time is application of Monitoring and Evaluation processes. The teacher who does a good job, and knows it, has the satisfaction of seeing learners grow, feeling their respect and affection, and obtaining the recognition of colleagues, parents, and the community. In this respect, teacher’s capabilities and competence is boosted and they are likely motivated to teach well which may result to effective teaching. The school also employed flexibility in the conduct of technical assistance from limited face to face to online. LDM1 Practicum Portfolio REQUIRED ARTIFACT Reflective Summary ppssh strand 4.2 - Professional reflection and learning LDM1 Practicum Portfolio Reflective Summary This LDM Course,at first, was very difficult to work on. But later on as the course went on, I slowly understood and got the point that this course could help us school heads and teachers to improve in assessing ourselves and our way of monitoring and assess the effectiveness of different modalities delivered to the learner’s specially in this time of pandemic. This course also opened a lot of opportunities to school heads also to the teachers because the we, in schools, are the key factors and frontliners in making these delivery modalities successful. The emergence of the world's worst pandemic illness has heralded a new normal in all stages of ensuring penultimate changes in all endeavors. Our efforts in the education sector to execute the "Edukalidad" advocated by our educational leaders have prompted the school heads to launch this initiative. The many activities in this learning modality course are tailored-fit for every school heads, and we may choose from them while adopting the new standard curriculum. Managing and overseeing the work of other people can be initially quite a daunting experience. As the school head, I saw to it that there is an equal distribution of teaching loads among the teachers so as to avoid conflicts. I am just proud to say that my colleagues accepted this as a challenge rather than a burden on their part because they were also given subjects which are not their line. Demonstration teachings were also conducted. Furthermore, an on-site schedule was also developed to prepare the school for the distribution and retrieval of modules. Virtual meetings were also regularly conducted for updates regarding our work. It includes maximizing the probability and consequences of positive events and minimizing the probability and consequences of adverse events to project objectives. A risk management plan defines how a project team will handle risks to achieve that goal. At Rimos National High School, we care for our students, for ourselves and for our community. One of the programs of our school was the distribution of food packages to selected poor students. Likewise, Proper Health Protocol and Contingency Plan for Covid-19 are also in place. I was chosen to evaluate worksheets in Grade 10-Health. These will be used in the AIRs-SLM of the division. Likewise, I also regularly check Weekly Home Learning Plans and sees to it that they were distributed to learners for reference. I personally check the class records of the teachers prior to the submission of grades to the advisers. A quarterly school form checking is also conducted before the distribution of report cards. Collaborators may be engaged in health promotion, research, or policy making. Truly, our school is loved by the community. During these pandemic times, we received a number of donations from our dear benefactors which we used in the reproduction of modules and observance of proper health protocols, among others.
