works all days of the week for 8 hours except for Fridays which he works for only
4 hours. How much money did Clark make in one month? (rounded to the nearest
dollar)
Answer 1: $19.30 * 8(hours) = 154.4 then 154.4 * 4 (for Monday to Thursday)
=617.6 then grab the pay for Friday which is $19.30 * 4(hours) = 77.2 Finally add
both answers up to get 617.6 + 77.2 = 694.8 which rounded to the nearest dollar
is $695 is how much Clark makes in a week for working at the I.T Company.
Question 2: Clark wants to go on vacation to Greece for a week which will cost
him $2200 for the whole package. How many weeks will Clark have to work to be
afford the trip to Greece? (round to the nearest dollar)
Answer 694.8 * 3(weeks) = 2084.4 +308.8(2 days worth of work) = 2393.2 which
rounded to the nearest dollar is $2392. Therefore he would have to work 3 weeks
and 2/5 to have enough to be able to go on vacation.
