Work Experience
Teacher
License - St Thomas Aquinas elementary School
January 2017 to Present
Prioritize the need that all students can and will learn, using data-driven lesson planning and and
differentiated instructions.
• Use the blended learning approach to diversify learning and personalize instructions. Also, maintain
a running record of individual students as well as class performance on formative assessment results
as a form of evaluating the teaching and learning process, more importantly as a guide to differentiate
instruction.
• Use a variety of both and informal assessments to monitor progress, create individualized action plans
for struggling students in order to improve proficiency and mastery of math concepts.
• Work with colleagues to write unit plans aligned with common core standards while putting huge
emphasis on the Danielson framework of questionings in order to generate more students discussion.
Metropolitan Lighthouse Charter school
January 2015 to December 2017
Taught 8th grade Math/Algebra 1(Regents class). Used an interactive approach to teaching and learning
to help scholars develop a conceptual understanding of mathematics, which, not only lead to higher
achievement, but more necessarily a far greater aptitude in applying math skills to problem solving as
well as making connections.
