High Availability
Local Redundancy is a function to continue service of VSM by transferring service to Standby VNFC when Active VNFC fails and
recovery is impossible.
MCM and MCD are 1:1, other VNFCs are N:1 configuration, and Cloud Storage sharing method.
ECX (NEC) S/W, Agent and basic environment File and License should be included in VNFC Golden Image. In case of VNFC Scale Out,
saved environment file should be updated.

Network Controlled Handover
5G NB (CU) carries out network-based mobility like LTE eNB for a 5G UE
moving to cell-edge. This feature focuses on Intra-5G Node-B handover which
is mobility control functionality between cells that belong to the same 5G
Node-B.
EMS will have a Neighbor Relation Table (NRT) whose NR entities can be
added/changed/deleted by operator's manual control.

PNF Test Management
The PNF Test Management provides the test functions to check whether
the external connection paths, self-configuration test and resources are
normal. This execution is done by the on-demand test that is operating when
operator is requested.
● External Ping Test : On-demand test
● Trace Route Test : On-demand test
● POST(Power-On Self-Test) : Self-test when NE(PNF) is initialized.
On-demand test is triggered by operator’s request. For on-demand test, test
jobs are executed as soon as they are received. The request is sent to the
desired NE(PNF) and NE(PNF) sends the response to the operator as “OK or
NOK” after checking the test availability. If response is OK, the specific test is
performed. After on-demand test, NE transfers notification of test result to
5G EMS. If test result is failed, it displays the error reason for test failure.

Subscriber and Equipment Trace
5G Node-B starts call tracing when 5G Node-B
receives the tracing request message from NG
Core or EMS.
5G Node-B sends the tracing results to Trace
Collection Entity (TCE). TCE information is
included in the tracing request message.
5G Node-B system doesn’t support Signaling
Based Trace because NG-1C interfaces for trace
activation between 5G Node-B and 5G Core are
not included in 5G Standards currently.
5G Node-B system supports Management Based
Trace without ‘Cell Traffic Trace’ message.
After the standard for the trace function is
included in 5G specifications, the Signaling trace
will be supported
