Creative Self-Expression Questionnaire
The purpose of this questionnaire is to get you to think about your creative self-expression. Ponder each question, then write your answers. Bring to
class on 8/18 ready to discuss.
Reflect on how you expressed creativity in your life a) as a young child; and 2) now. Has your
creative expression changed? Why or why not?
How important is music in your life? Is there a music genre or performer that brings joy in
your life? Can you name a song that has lyrics that has impacted your life? Explain.
How important is art in your life? Is there a specific kind/style of art that you enjoy doing or
seeing? Do you have a favorite artist?
Do you have any fears about planning, implementing, and assessing musical and art
experiences for children? If so, how do you plan to overcome these fears?
