The paper has presented a framework to help the community by easing the surveying of database cost model domain by automatically providing context for the purpose of reproducibility and comparison. The paper has presented a good idea and could be a valuable contribution to the domain. However, the following improvements are suggested to improve the paper: 1. Overall, the paper is written in very hard to understand and comprehend language, which is difficult for the readers to understand and digest. Overall, the paper needs to be written in easy English language. 2. The introduction sanction needs to be revised to clearly describe the domain area and need of research. The section should include novelty of the paper, applications of the proposed framework, and scientific contribution in the domain of interests. In addition, the abbreviations and concepts should be clearly defined at their first appearances throughout the paper to help reader in understanding. For example, what is meant by Vs, CMs, etc. in the paper. Instead of having separate sections for Problem Statement and Paper contribution they should be incorporated in the introduction sections if not in conflict with the journal format. 3. The paper is lacking with literature review. Proper literature review should be included where pros and cons of each of the research should be presented and how the proposed model could overcome their limitations. 4. The background section is redundant and unnecessarily increasing length of the paper. It is better to incorporate the background section in the introduction section. 5. Why is the text in certain places throughout the paper are underlined? What does it mean? Are these hyperlinks? 6. The implementation and evaluation section is properly presented. However, the results obtained by the proposed framework model should be compared with the results obtained by the relevant framework models and how the results obtained are better than their results. 7. The paper needs to be thoroughly revised for the grammatical and spelling mistakes which are very frequently found in the paper.
