.Coral Reef.
Mrs. L
After being shipwrecked over the Coral Reef, I could see
nothing but water.
It smelled like ocean salt water.
I could hear birds flying overhead and occasionally heard
whales and dolphins.
I will not be happy living here. I am alone and have no idea
how long I will be stuck here.
You just touched down, describe in
great detail your surrounds. What
do you see, hear, smell and touch?
Are you comfortable?
Will you be happy living in this
biome? Why or why not?
The water temperature is between 73-84
degrees.
On the surface, the temperature is normally
about 90 degrees.
Sometimes storms come in and make the waters
very rough
Directions- Change the background
to a picture of your biome. Insert a
text box and describe your biome’s
weather and climate.
Seahorse
Angel Shark
Bivalves
Blue Ring Octopus
Directions- Insert 6-10 pictures of
animals that live in your biome.
Insert text boxes and explain how
these animals survive in their
biome. What are their adaptations?
Find a variety of animals that would
have different roles in the biome
Coral
Lobster
CORAL
Coral survives in the reefs by living in
clear water that lets sunlight in. Warm
clean salt water also helps coral stay
alive. They eat algae.
Seaweed
Phytoplankton
Neptune grass
Eelgrass
Plants
Kelp
Directions- Insert 6-10 pictures of
plants that live in your biome. Insert
text boxes and explain how these
plants survive in their biome. What
are their adaptations?
Algae
Seaweed lives in clear water, so that it
can get sunlight. Sunlight turns the
carbon dioxide that it breathes into food.

you get it? Add photos

Shelter
How would you build a
shelter? Make sure that
you only use materials
that would be available
in your biome.

materials and/or shelter
I got drinking water by eating fish eyes. They are
filled with pure water. I also made sure to shade
myself from sunlight, so I would not get
dehydrated, and I made sure to not eat when I
was feeling nauseous
Do you have access to clean
drinking water? How will you get
it?
Dangers I faced was dehydration. Predators, such as sharks, and storms that
made the waters very rough.
What dangers would you
have to be aware of? Add
photos and descriptions.
