Educational Tour Package
Bhutan Tourism Corporation Ltd. (BTCL), is Bhutan’s oldest and most experienced travel
company. Since 1991, BTCL has catered to more than 35,000 international visitors with enticing
packages that includes cultural tours, treks, international conferences and customized travel
programs.
Ever since the pandemic, BTCL has been rolling out various packages for Local Travelers to
important sites across the country. So far, we have garnered more than 100 domestic travelers
through our packages.
As one of the oldest and experienced travel agencies with a chain of hotels and restaurants
across the country and fleet of its own vehicles, we provide quality and personalized service at a
very reasonable price.
With summer vacation break around the corner and to make the most of it, BTCL is coming up
with budget friendly packages for students to keep them busy and motivated. Keeping in mind
that educational tours and service learning enhances educational value through student reflection
of their experiences, critical thinking about how those experiences relate to the course, is
precisely why sending young learners for educational learning trips catches on academics,
parents and teachers as well.
Therefore, we would like to put forward this proposal to the management of Yangchenphug
Higher Secondary School, if the management would be interested in sending students on an
Educational Tour to visit important sites in Paro or Punakha and learn the historical importance
behind it during their short break.
Our current ongoing package for educational tour is Nu.550 per student per day inclusive of
transportation and an experienced guide (If required). We have fleet of vehicles that can
accommodate up to 50-60 people.
