First and foremost, let me all welcome you to the special Stockholders meeting. Thank you everyone for making time to join us in today’s gathering. Before I present to you a mid-year report, allow me to share briefly how it all began… Born in the heart of Guagua, Pampanga, a family-owned business transpired from being a 1 of twenty one pages novice in the industry to a now distinct and established group of companies. It all started on February 10, 1964 when the Rural Bank of Floridablanca, Inc. (RBFI) was established with an initial paid-up capital of provide for php the 288,000.00 to much-needed finances of local sugar producers, planters and traders dealing with the now defunct pampanga sugar mill (pasumil), then one of the country’s bggest sugar processors. Seven (7) years later, with the vision of Emeritus, our late Chairman our patriarch, Mr. Ladislao Sibal David (LSD) or also known as our “Papa Choy”, founder and chair of the House of David Group joined the bank’s board of directors, subsequently 2 of twenty one pages becoming its President in 1971 and driving the bank further up the countryside banking niche. Subsequently in 1972, Ladislao Sibal David became the bank’s president. Forty nine (49) years later ,on November 26, 2013, Bank of Florida and Bank of Lubao’s consolidation was recognized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) 4 of twenty one pages It was on December 17, 2013 when the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issued a Certificate of Authority to operate as a consolidated bank. It was in 2014 when Bank of Florida celebrated its 50th year as a regional champion in providing finances to the whole of Pampanga and provinces outside the region. It was held at the Widus Hotel in Clark, Pampanga exactly on the 86th birthday of our Chairman Emeritus and with no less than BSP Governor Nestor A. Espenilla,Jr. as our Guest of Honor and Speaker BOF’s old logo - the star of david – transformed itself into the ring that now speaks of what BOF has become and what it stands for 5 of twenty one pages now and in the future…as it aspires to be a caring bank that is deeply rooted in the communities it serves. BOF fully re-branded itself shifting from a typical bank setting to more cozy and homey banking facilities that will ensure its growing number of clients of a family-like but professionally run bank. And now, let me present to you the incomparable status of BOF in terms of its Assets, Net Worth, Deposit Liabilities and Loan and Receivables both on the regional and national level. The statistics that you are about to see is as of March 31, 2018. For BOF’s assets on the national level, it ranked Top 7 in national with a total assets of PhP 3.202B among 487 Rural banks 6 of twenty one pages And Top 3 in the regional level with assets of PhP3.202B among the 78 Rural Banks in Region 3. Tomas (San Matias), San Fernando, Guagua, Sta. Ana, Arayat, Candaba, Pulilan, Magalang, Capas, Sta. Rita, Dau, Angeles City, Sto. Tomas (Lubao), Sta Cruz (Lubao), Minalin, Porac and Macabebe. Since then BOF dedicated its resources Micro, to Small help and and assist Medium Entrepreneurs (MSMEs) and local agriculture and trading communities by providing them with the much needed financial facilities that eventually boosted 12 of twenty one pages the socio-economic development of the province. To date, BOF already established 18 branches. Blessing and Inauguration Recently, we concluded the blessing and inauguration of our Macabebe Branch Office on August 8, 2018. It was a struggle for everyone as the rain was consistently pouring during that time but it was of no moment for everyone because of our 13 of twenty one pages dedication to extend financing resources to the community of Macabebe, Pampanga. Corporate Social Responsibility The following slides will give you a glimpse of a few of all the corporate social responsibility activities of BOF, as well as the seminars, trainings and workshops (STWs) that employees we have and attended our to further develop and empower our people to be highly competent professionals as part of our mission.
