Hong-Jones 1 Karl Hong-Jones Kirsten Schwartz English 1A May 17, 2021 Appendix of Evidence Sample Essays Sample 1: Critical Essay - Full Draft Title: “Critical Essay” This essay was for the purpose of differentiating the bias in articles and whether the coverage in the news was enough for the world. I believe that this helped me write my essay with more details and trying to write what the readers want to see. Sample 2: Reflecting on your Profile Experience Title: “Profile” Writing a profile has taught me a different genre of writing. It was a unique experience for me and I enjoyed my time doing so. It was interesting and I learned new stories about my dad's past life that I have never heard of which shocked me. I can write a better story from someone else's story better than my own; for example, my father's story which is way more interesting than the stories I have. I would enjoy writing more profiles in the future so I can get a new learning experience. I accomplished a new writing style that I can incorporate in my future writing which will be useful.
