EXTRA CURRICULAR
I have take part in many extra and super curricular activities in order to extend my knowledge and
experiences. I spent two weeks in Germany at a language school for all nationalities, where I leaned the
language and experienced the local culture with a group of friends from all over the world. I also took
part in the Duke of Edinburgh award, where I spent six months volunteering in a library among the other
requirements. More recently a group of friends and I did two weeks charity work with the National
Citizen Service, there we worked closely with The Big Issue while organising then carrying out a number
of activities we hoped would benefit the homeless in the local area during the pandemic. The lockdown,
although frustrating, I took as an opportunity to spend some time studying in fields that I would
otherwise have been unable to experience, taking multiple courses on FutureLearn and then starting a
distance learning Accountancy and Bookkeeping Course with the AAT
