Secondary sector • In which people use raw materials from primary sector to process or manufacture things people can use. • Businesses in the secondary sector are usually just outside the towns. • This is the second layer of the economy. • Businesses use raw materials from primary sector to process or manufacture things that people can use. • These are mainly industries • Some types of businesses on next slides.
