Historians believe that so many factors led to its destruction. Christianity As Roman empire progressed, they replaced the worship of other gods to Christianity. The Christian religion had different beliefs about war. While the Romans believe in War, Christianity advocated for peace. The money meant for developing the City was spent in building Churchs. The time the emperors should have used to plan the empire was spent in settling disputes among Christians thus leaving the empire vulnerable. Nature Some historians believe that nature also caused the downfall of Roman empire. Such as change in weather or diseases. The fall of the Roman empire is still a topic of argument till today.
