Getting onboard is strictly restricted. Wherever necessary in essential purposes they should be in
properly worn full PPE.
In such situations
1. Limit in person contact with the crew members
2. Minimize handling as much as possible.
3. Discard the used PPE into the bin provided and use hand sanitizer while leaving the vessel.

This refers to your request dated 05.05.2021 for getting on board MV. CONTINENTAL TAIGA
bearing IMO No. 9515527
You are hereby informed that the approval is granted for the following persons to carry out the
job onboard in the aforesaid vessel on 05.05.2021.
1. Mr Nimesh Perera
Your attention is drawn to the following.
1. The person who is getting onboard is bound to check the routine health clearance issued for
the vessel prior to getting on board.
2. All personnel are bound to strictly follow all the instructions stipulated in the " Standard
Operating Procedure (SOP) for Persons Getting On Board (Other Than Authorities) " (SOP No.
PHS COVID-19 SOP-11).
3. Due to the current prevailing situation it is strongly advised to be onboard maximum 6 hours
per day for each session.
4. Once approved it is considered that you have gone onboard unless you inform the Port health
Office and cancelled the approval.
5. All personnel are bound to follow the instructions strictly issued by PHO/ PHI under the
powers vested by “The Quarantine and Prevention of Diseases Ordinance of 1893” at any given
point of time.
