SW upgrade from SBTS to SBTS by using NetAct workflow engine
Open Workflow Engine
In Workflow Engine start operation Upgrade SRAN BTS -1. Prepare
1. Prepare NetAct and SRAN16 SBTS for the upgrade:
Add MRBTS to NetAct DNS
Sample SBTS-MRBTS Mapping file
Create MRBTS managed object and interface
Create SBTS – MRBTS mapping for Performance Manager.
Performance Manager gets the mapping automatically based on the
SBTS – MRBTS mapping file provided by the planning.
Configure MRBTS ID and BTSMED IP address in SBTS
Download SW to SBTS
2. Perform upgrade, step-by-step
Activate SW in SBTS
Upload MRBTS configuration data
Upload MRBTS software data
Update MRBTS non-network parameter data
3. Update NetAct data, One button NetAct data update
Update notes, network views, rules and filters in Monitor
4. Clean up NetAct data
Once the upgrade has been successful, the SRAN16 SBTS related data
can be deleted from NetAct. The delete operation is not serviceaffecting.
Note: SW rollback to SRAN 16.10 / 16.2 is not anymore supported if
NetAct cleanup operation is executed.
