My Audio Lingual Lesson Plan
28.10.2015
Ibrahim ALGÜL
OVERVIEW
This lesson is the first lesson for 5th grade children. I want to talk about holiday
activities and may have an idea if they had rehearsals of their former learning and warm them
up for this semester.
I will use Audio Lingual Method in my class as ALM is a perfect method for new
learners especially for children.
In Audio Lingual Method, there is dependence on mimicry, memorization of set
phrases, and overlearning. Teacher use repetitive drills for structural patterns. And we don't
need to explain grammar much. Vocabulary is strictly limited either and learned in context for
necessary.
Repetition Overlearning  Automaticity
I think the expression above tells everything.
