The vision of the Irving Marathon is to establish a sustainable community focused running event, encouraging athletes of all levels to lead healthy lifestyles and further their personal fitness through running. Since 2012, the Irving Marathon has partnered with the Baylor Scott & White Irving Foundation to benefit different programs and has raise over $45,000 through the generous contribution of our sponsors and running community. 4| info@irvingmarathon.com | Sponsorship Proposal For 2020, the Irving Marathon will again partner with Baylor Scott & White Irving Foundation and will benefit the Childhood & Family Obesity Taskforce. Apart from raising money for Baylor Scott & White Irving Foundation. In 2020 the Irving Marathon has a goal of sponsoring any Irving ISD student who participates in Cross Country or Track and Field to sign up and race any race at no cost to the student. The Irving Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifying event, enabling runners to compete on a USATF certified, officially timed course. Results are shared with the Boston Athletic Association qualifying numbers of runners every year for the Boston Marathon.
