THIRD YEAR - SECOND SEMESTER EEE 306: ELECTRONIC SERVICING (0, 3, 1) Objective The objective of this course is to enable students test and diagnose faults in power supplies, amplifiers, oscillators and basic digital circuits. It is also aimed at testing and fault finding in microprocessor based systems, radio and television circuits and control systems. Course Content • Testing and diagnosing of faults in power supplies. • Measuring, testing and diagnosing faults in (low frequency) amplifiers. • Basic measurements, testing of oscillators and multi- vibrators and wave-from generators. • Testing and fault finding on basic digital circuits. • Testing adjustment and fault finding in radio and television circuits. • Testing and fault finding in basic control systems and associated sub- systems.
