Your thesis statement is the following 3 things: • The thesis is the controlling idea or main point of your essay. • The thesis is what you will prove. • The thesis must be narrow or specific enough to prove; it must be manageable. • Lastly, your thesis statement will be the last sentence in your body paragraph.
