paragraph is mainly about. Your
topic sentence states what the
paragraph will be discussing.
Bottom Bun = Conclusion/Clincher
– You need this to make your
paragraph complete. Ties your
paragraph all together.
Your Task
• Create a visual representation of a
paragraph.
• Include these four elements: subject, main
idea, topic sentence, supporting details and
conclusion.
• Each element should be listed and
explained on your illustration.
• Work as a team, but each member is
responsible for one of the elements.
