1. What best practices have you implemented?
The 2 colleges CBA and CHIM provided a recorded
webinar. This allows students to extend their skills
as well as their knowledge of their chosen
profession. This also helps students to gain
additional experience and abilities that can be
used to supplement their primary area of study.
2. How did you do it?
As their Instructor, I presented every week a
different area of Industry.
Week 1 - Orientation of Interns by Practicum
Coordinator through Video conferencing.

session for a second time. This is helpful if the
student did not completely comprehend the
material.
Webinars are best suited to provide students
with appropriate, timely information about
the Careers, Businesses and Industries under
the College of Business and Accountancy and
under the College of Hospitality and
Institutional Management
The students are fortunate to have some of
the most industry experts present during this
webinar.
Each student has a different set of educational
interests. They are unable to choose their
preferred subjects or degree program but
because of this webinar they can decide what
course to be taken in college.
