Commonalities Commonalities:
& Differences
 Social science and natural science both use measurable data. Both seek solutions to
problems.
 Social Science and History: Both study human element. Both look to past.
 Humanities and History both study art, language and culture.
Differences:
 Social science differs from natural science because social science cannot be studied in
controlled environment. Data is not measurable.
 History differs from social science because history creates contributions of the past linked
to present, where social science studies various fields of society.
 Natural science is scientific.
