Mini Character Profiles
• You are going to create miniature character profiles on the characters
we have seen so far in the novella. On the next slide is an example for
George.
George – (the intelligent best friend)
In brackets explain
which one he is.
Role in the Book
• George is one of the protagonists. He is the best friend to
Lennie and takes on the role of both brother and father to
him.
Appearance
• Denim trousers and in denim coats with brass buttons
• small and quick
• restless eyes
• sharp, strong features.
• Every part of him was defined: small, strong hands,
slender arms, a thin and bony nose.
Behaviour
• Can get angry / frustrated with Lennie
• Blames Lennie for things that go wrong
