2. (U) Mission ___ Company/1-63 AR attacks enemy vic OBJ HUSKIES on
__SEP/OCT12 IOT enable US forces freedom of maneuver along MSR Zebra for
future operations.

3.a.
(U) Commander’s Intent The purpose of this operation is to enable US Forces
freedom of maneuver along MSR Zebra by defeating enemy forces in AO Kunis.
The key to our success will be early identification of enemy fortified battle
positions and rapid transition of movement formations to the hasty attack or hasty
defense. End State: OBJ ROYALS is seized and secured. Our forces have
successfully penetrated defenses and taken OBJ HUSKIES. Enemy forces have
been destroyed or are incapable of conducting attacks within AO KUNIS.
3.b.
(U) Concept of the Operation: This operation will be accomplished in 3 phases:
TLPs, execution, and consolidation and reorganization. The decisive point of this
operation is the maneuvering of the assault element into flanking position on the
enemy vic OBJ HUSKIES. This is decisive because it allows us to close with and
destroy the enemy taking OBJ HUSKIES. ___PLT/__Co (SO1) seizes OBJ
ROYALS IOT allow ___ Co to use it as a base of operations. ___PLT/___Co
(SO2) attacks enemy in AO PERRY IOT prevent enemy flanking maneuver on

DO. ___PLT/___Co (DO) attacks enemy vic OBJ HUSKIES IOT enable US
forces freedom of maneuver along MSR Zebra for future operations.
3.b.1.
(U) Phase 1 (TLPs): This phase begins upon the receipt of this OPORD.
During this phase all platoons will conduct TLPs. O/O the Platoons will depart
their AAs and conduct their operations. This phase ends when the Platoons
depart their AAs.
3.b.2.
(U) Phase 2 (Execution): This phase begins when Platoons depart their AAs.
During this phase SO1 will seize OBJ ROYALS from enemy forces; SO2 will
attack and destroy enemy in AO PERRY; and DO will attack and destroy
enemy vic OBJ HUSKIES. This phase ends when all Platoons have
accomplished their missions.
3.b.3.
(U) Phase 3 (Consolidation and Reorganization): This phase begins when all
Platoons have accomplished their missions. During this phase platoons will
conduct consolidation and reorganization; if needed they will also conduct
rearm and resupply operations. This phase ends when the company is
prepared for follow on missions.
3.c.
(U) Scheme of Movement and Maneuver
3.c.1.
(U) Scheme of Mobility/Countermobility: Major roadways bordering and
crossing AAs will not be utilized throughout operation. Platoons utilize
mobility corridors within respective AOs which afford greatest maneuverability
and seizure of key terrain.

(U) Risk Reduction Control Measures
3.c.9.f.1.
(U) The speed limit for all tactical vehicles is 25 mph on
paved/unpaved MSRs, and as ground conditions allow but no greater
than 15 MPH off-road.

(U) All PLTs conduct internal risk assessments.
3.c.9.f.3.
(U) All levels of leadership continue to ensure that soldiers are wearing
PPE to standard.
3.c.9.f.4.
(U) Weapons safety must be enforced at the operator level. Weapons
will remain on safe unless personnel are engaging targets.

(U) All PLTs will conduct crew evacuation and roll over drills prior to
LD.
