LOWER DIVISION MAJOR REQUIREMENTS: The courses listed below make up the lower division major requirements for this specific major and this catalog year. Students are encouraged to take as many of these courses prior to transfer as possible to promote timely completion of the degree at CSULB. BE AWARE: The courses on this list may not all be required for admission but are required for the award of the bachelor’s degree. Refer to the information and links provided above for major-specific admission requirements. The courses shown below constitute lower-division coursework required for this major for this catalog year. In addition, lower-division general education coursework is required (select General Education/Breadth on the main menu). This additional coursework can either be completed at a California Community College by achieving CSU-GE or IGETC certification (see a counselor for details), or the General Education/Breadth course list in effect at matriculation must be completed at CSULB. Be advised that lower-division course requirements are subject to change from year to year, and catalog rights (actual course requirements) will be established for the student effective with the catalog in effect as of the first term of matriculation at CSULB.
